How do you lose weight if you are impatient?

 Does losing weight require patience: You're wasting your time waiting for a miracle diet or drug that will get you where you want to be in a matter of days or weeks. If you have more than fifty pounds to lose, it can take months to get the physique you want, especially if you take a sensible approach to weight loss and try to lose a pound or two a week instead of four or five pounds to strive for.

However, it can be extremely difficult to stay motivated long enough to reach your weight loss goal if you're only shedding a few pounds a week. You know you have to be on a calorie restricted diet and hit the gym for months, and that can be pretty daunting. Losing weight takes time, and even if you crash diet, it will take more than a week or two to lose all the weight you need to lose.

So it's better to lose weight gradually than to starve yourself to achieve your weight loss goal, especially since you have a better chance of maintaining the weight if you stick to a realistic diet plan. If you try to eat nothing but cabbage soup for weeks, you'll have a hard time putting on the weight you've lost because you're not adjusting to a healthier diet. You're eating junk food again, and your body decides to store the extra calories as fat, which may result in you needing to lose even more weight.

So it's clear that impatience can be bad for your weight loss plans because it makes you lose sight of the fact that you're losing weight to improve your overall health, wellness, and appearance. If you're concerned with fast weight loss, chances are you're putting your health at risk because you're not getting all the nutrients you need. Also, you might end up watching your weight fluctuate up and down, which wouldn't be good for you either.

So you have to accept that it will take quite a while to reach your weight loss goal. Therefore, you should approach it in a way that will improve your health and make you more likely to maintain your weight.
